Craft & Tea
The knitters are working on items for charity for those in need in Australia. We are also investigating joining Knitted Knockers, whom we heard from at the September meeting.
If knitting is not for you, bring along your project for a lovely, interesting 2 hours with our friendly group.
Why not start the year with a new group and come and join us?
First Monday of the month, 1.30 to 3.00, Bendigo Bank, East Ringwood.
FEBRUARY
The craft group moves into ‘top gear’ as we commence 2026.
Our first meeting is Monday 2nd February, 1.30 to 3.30 at the Bendigo Bank East Ringwood.
Please come and join us to enjoy a chatty afternoon and a cuppa with a great group. Bring along whatever project you are working on. If you like to knit, we have wool and patterns for different items to share.
We would like to thank the Committee for the donation to purchase wool, which is very much appreciated.
A thank you also to Patrick from Supa Bargains in Croydon Central shopping centre. He was very happy to give us a generous discount again. With this saving, we were able to add another $80 worth of wool. fingerless gloves for him and his wife will find their way to them.
Please contact me at the general meeting or give me a call for further details.
Convenor: Anne Styles (for contact details see Club Contact List or Newsletter)
A message from Kogo to all our wonderful creative and generous knitters.
Our grateful thanks to Ringwood Clocktower Probus Craft Group (especially Dorothy) for the lovely jumpers and beanies that they so kindly crafted and donated to kogo. We know that the people who receive them will be absolutely thrilled. It gives them an emotional boost to know that someone in the community takes the time and trouble to create such special items to give to people who are suffering hardship.
Our finished garments are distributed through over 300 Community Partner Organisations. These agencies deal with a myriad of people undergoing hardship such as those who are homeless, refugees, children who are at risk, remote indigenous communities, women in refuges and families who are struggling to make ends meet.
Again, thank you so much for being part of our team of wonderful knitters and crocheters and helping us to spread the warmth.
