Seven Fishing addicts went out onto Port Phillip Bay on Monday 8^th December with great anticipation to catch plenty of Fish. While the water was calm and the weather very warm unfortunately the fish were not playing their part. Barb Lange who has not been fishing before caught the first fish of the day and was so was so excited she nearly fell overboard. Neil Young who fancies himself as a fisherman caught two fish that just qualified to be legal in between getting his line tangled up with nearly everyone else on the boat. Rob Weatherburn caught the biggest fish and donated it to Neil while the rest of us Norm Hanna myself Judy Frederick and Keith Smith didn’t have much luck. In fact, it was Keith Smith maiden voyage fishing and he remains a Virgin fisherman he didn’t get a bite.

We have decided Fishing Charters are not proving worthwhile out on the Bay when you consider the expense so any future Fishing Action will be land based.

Hopefully this encourages those that don’t have sea legs to come along for the day where we can make it a Fish /Picnic Day so we can eat our catch.
