Great Movies of Yesteryear
During the next few months, the following films to be shown include:
At 6:00pm (until 10:00pm) on the third Friday of each month, Marie and Bill Robinson host a gathering of old-time movie fans at the Bendigo Bank Community Room in East Ringwood.
The films are taken from Bill’s personal collection and are mostly, though not exclusively, musicals from Hollywood’s Golden Era.
Films shown in recent months include …
- South Pacific
- Young at Heart
- With a Song in my Heart
- The Bells of St Mary’s
- The Inn of the Sixth Happiness
There is a charge of $10:00 per person per annum to affray costs.
Participants are asked to bring finger food, wine, etc for a light meal before the screening. The film will commence at 7:30pm as the room must be cleared BEFORE 10:00pm.

AUGUST – IMPORTANT NOTICE !
Please note that there will be no “Great Movies of Yesterday” for AUGUST.
The Projectionist and his assistant are taking a month’s break.
The movies begin again on September 14th.

The Haunting, Drama- packed Movie – THE THIRD MAN, starring Orson Wells and Joseph Cotton.
In the Community Room of the East Ringwood Branch of the Bendigo Bank (62 Railway Ave.) at 6.00 pm with a light meal. Please bring finger food to share and non-alcoholic drinks.
