Melbourne Water Treatment Plant at Werribee – Now Cancelled
The Education Centre at the Water Treatment Plant have advised me that they are closing the Wetlands part of the Tour due to Biosecurity reasons regarding the current issue with Bird Flu. As this was one of the major attractions for visiting the Water Treatment Plant, I have taken the decision to cancel our visit to a later date so we can have the full experience
Anyone who has paid will be refunded by our treasurer Peny Chan as it could be into next year before we have another opportunity to visit the Plant.
If anyone has any ideas of possible Industry Tours they have heard about, please contact me with details

PAST TOURS
Healey Factory Tour – Wednesday evening 30th October 2019
The Healey Factory tour was attended by 33 and was a great event and enjoyed by all.
Director Rob Rowland and his team – Andrew, Chris and Peter did a fantastic job of showing and explaining the work and processes involved in restoring these classic old vehicles.
This Classic Car facility does full restorations on all sorts of Classic and Collectable vehicles. I have passed on the Clubs appreciation to Rob and his team who all showed their dedication.
Telstra Museum Tour – Wednesday 3rd and 10th April 2019
This tour was well attend over the 2 days – with 41 folk (both ladies and gents) enjoying a very interesting tour and “a walk down memory lane” with the numerous past models of the telephone and the system that connects us all, across the world.
(A few former Telstra employees in our group had lots of questions and reflections !) How things have changed over the years!
